The Upper St. Clair football season came to an end on Friday night as they fell to McKeesport by the score of 13-7 in the WPIAL playoffs. Upper St. Clair scored on its first possession Friday and led 7-0. The Panthers moved 88 yards in six plays ending with a 33-yard, direct-snap touchdown run by Antonio Orsini. McKeesport battled back and the teams were tied 7-7 going into halftime.
Tied 7-7 at half, the teams combined for a scoreless third quarter. McKeesport scored late in the fourth quarter making the final score 13-7.
The Panthers finished the season with a record of 8-3. Congratulations to the entire coaching staff and team for a job well done. Also, a big thank you goes to the senior class.
