Upper St Clair falls to Mt. Lebanon 28-14 
Upper St. Clair hosted Mt. Lebanon in a non-conference rivalry game Friday night. In pregame we inducted our 2019 Hall of Fame class. Congrats and thank you for making us proud!
Neither team would score in a hard fought first quarter. Both teams were having success running the ball and playing great defense. Mt. Lebanon would open up the scoring on a QB keep TD with 8:23 left in the half. After a USC punt, Mt. Lebanon would score on a 31 yard pass to go up 14-0 with 6:55 left in the half. Ethan Hiester would intercept the Lebo QB and return it to the 2 yard line.  Ethan Dahlem would put the Panthers on the board with a TD rush with 2:49 left in the half.  Mt. Lebanon would respond with a quick drive and touchdown to go into halftime leading 21-7
The Blue Devils would have the ball and control the clock with their run game for most of the third quarter. With 1:21 left in the third, Mt. Lebanon was forced to a 3rd and 12 on the USC 21. They would commit an illegal forward pass and attempt and miss a 42 yard field goal. The Panthers would fail on a 4th down conversion at midfield with 10 minutes left in the game. The Blue Devils would continue to move the chains and chew the clock. With 1:46 left in the game, Lebo would cap of their drive with a rushing TD to make the score 28-7. Jaden Keating would break a 84 yard run for the panthers to set up a rushing TD from Heath Erdos with 10 seconds left in the game. The game final would be 28-14 Mt.  Lebanon. The loss moved the Panthers to 5-2 (3-1) on the year.
The Panthers are back in action next Friday for an away conference game at Moon in a key section matchup. Good Luck!
