The Swimming and Diving team traveled to Grove City College this past weekend and both teams emerged with 1 win and 1 loss. Both the girls team and the boys team beat Canon Mac and fell to very strong teams from Seneca Valley. Both teams have reached the halfway point of the dual meet season with 3-2 records.

The team is in the midst of a very hard stretch of training so the coaches are pleased with the many great performances we had last weekend. Diver Ali Hayes got the meet started off well with a strong second place showing in the diving with a score of 192.85.

Other notable performances throughout the meet include:

Abby Rutkowski and Andrew White in the 200 freestyle, Taylor Connors in the 200 IM, Aleksey Schabanow in the 50 free, Elinor Connor in the 100 free, Caroline Wright in the 100 back, and Katie McCurrie and Will Perham in the 100 breast.

The Panthers will compete in their next meet Thursday, January 16 versus Central Catholic and Oakland Catholic. The meet will be held at Chatham University and starts at 7 p.m.
