Gov. Wolf issues Stay-at-Home Order – ALL district facilities/grounds CLOSED

Stay Calm. Stay Home. Stay Safe. This afternoon Gov. Tom Wolf issued a stay-at-home order for residents of Pennsylvania’s hardest-hit areas – including Allegheny County – to help combat the spread of COVID-19.

In response to this new measure, ALL Upper St. Clair School District properties, fields and playgrounds are CLOSED. This includes the high school stadium and track as well as the turf field at Boyce Middle School. Where possible, gates and fences are now locked. In addition, signs will be posted noting the facility closure. These measures are effective immediately and will remain in place until further notice.

The stay-at-home order goes into effect at 8 p.m. tonight (Monday, March 23, 2020) and remains in effect for two weeks.

“Our notable increase in cases over the last few days indicate we need everyone to take COVID-19 seriously,” Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine said. “Pennsylvanians have a very important job right now: stay calm, stay home and stay safe. We have seen case counts continue to increase and the best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to stay home.”

Please note that Upper St. Clair School District offices have moved. Effective Monday, Oct. 14, 2019, our administrative offices are located on the Upper St. Clair High School campus, adjacent to the stadium. Our new mailing address is 1775 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, Pa. 15241.
