The USC boys varsity baseball team once again came through under pressure with timely hitting when they need it most in the late innings. The Panthers defeated Hempfield by the score of 6-4 in 8 innings yesterday. The Panthers trailed 4-1 going into the 7th and scored 3 in the 7th to tie and 2 in the 8th for the win.
Eddie Albert pitched 4 1/3 innings, Robbie Hendricks pitched 1 2/3, Joe Altvater pitched 1 2/3 innings for the win.
